This recipe yields 16 pcs buns. Pan size is 8.5Γ8.5 square pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C for 18-20 minutes or until lightly brown. Baking time may vary depending on your oven specifications. I have a conventional oven that heat rises from the bottom.
Here’s what you’ll need:
1 tbsp sugar 10g
2 tsp active dry yeast 6g
1 cup milk 237ml (please use warm milk, evap, or fresh or UHT milk)
Β½ cup unsalted butter (110g)
1 large egg
3Β½ cup all purpose flour (437g)
ΒΌ cup sugar (50g)
1 tsp salt (5g)
2 tbsp oil for bowl
Eggwash
1 egg and 1 tbsp milk
