I was in desperate need of a new mixer when I saw this one. It's really cool looking, and the Silver caught my eye at once. It arrived fairly quick and it works like a charm! It's variable speed is not counted with numbers, but the gentle twist of a nob. I really like that feature as it gives me a way to, one handedly, change the speed up and down. It comes with all the attachments a larger mixer has, a big bonus! It's super easy to use and clean. The only thing I have an issue with is the eject button for the attachments, it's VERY stiff and I didn't think it worked until I pressed on it with both hands. Usually, one finger can press and eject the attachments. Hopefully, the eject button will loosen over time. Other than that I really like it. It will become a big time go to in my kitchen.

    If I could give it zero star I would. Purchased 2 in the last year. Figured first one was a lemon. I use it maybe once every 6 weeks to mix a cake mix. I’ve used this one maybe 5 times and it quit working about halfway through the mix. Don’t waste your money!

    A Powerful Mixer that Has Some Issues

    I bought this to replace a 30-year old hand mixer that didn't have the power to do what I wanted and this one does. But there are some issues with it.

    The most important to me is the ergonomics of design. The eject button is ease to access, but the speed control, rather then being on the top of the handle is on the very front. This makes it extremely difficult if you need to hold the bowl while adjusting the speed. It effectively takes 3-hands!

    Next is the size of the attachments. They're small compared to other mixers I have used. Which means the surface area does not make as much contact with the contents as larger blades. This especially come into play when whipping. It seems to take longer (even with more power) to make whipped cream with the whisk then with my older beater.
